Peru

Peru is a country in South America that is home to a section of Amazon rainforest and Machu Picchu, an ancient Incan city set high in the Andes mountains, with a population of over thirty-three million.

In 2027 we will mark 100 years of God's faithfulness since the first missionaries went to Peru with the Irish Baptist Foreign Mission. (The Irish Baptist Home Mission (founded in 1888) and the Irish Baptist Foreign Mission (founded in 1924) merged to become Baptist Missions in 1977.
